The Clearing
A Modern-Day Allegory
This short story is an allegory on the atrocity of abortion. It is the story of a man who lives alone in the country. He is harassed by a group of people he does not know and cannot see–the Outsiders. To his horror and confusion, he is arrested, sentenced to death without a defense, and executed for no reason other than the ludicrous accusation that he lived in the wrong place. By not revealing the connection to abortion until the last paragraph, the reader becomes angered by the injustice of this man’s situation only to realize that this same horror story is played out in our country’s abortion mills every day. (ET06)
Do You Believe the Embryo/Fetus is not a Human Being?
A refute of the most common reasons for denying the preborn child its status as a human being. Excuses such as "It has no heart," "It’s inside the womb," "It’s only a mass of tissue and blood," "It’s part of the mother’s body," and others are systematically dissected and rejected in a Socratic fashion, concluding that the Unborn can really be nothing else but living human beings. (ET01)
LifeLines
An Introduction to Defending the Unborn–with Respect, in Love
Have a tough time standing up for the Unborn? Do your discussions on abortion seem to go nowhere, or more accurately, everywhere? This tract gives a few pointers on how to have a successful dialogue with someone on this important issue–a discussion which is handled in a clear, concise manner and whose objective is to change the heart of the ProAbortion person, not rearrange his or her face. (ET14)
Murder, He Wrote
Maelstrom on Christians & Abortion
Written in the style of C. S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters, Screwtape’s American counterpart, Maelstrom, advises his little demon brother, Gruamuc, on the finer points of keeping American Christians out of the Battle to save both the innocent and guilty victims of abortion. Written specifically for Christians who cannot see the spiritual side of the whole issue. (ET05)
Under False Colors
An Examination of the "Choice" in "ProChoice"
The ProChoice people say that they represent "choice" for the American woman. Their name suggests freedom and rights and the American way. It also suggests that the ProLife movement is anti-choice and anti-american. This tract examines just who gets the "choice" under the ProChoice banner. The conclusion is that there is no choice for the father, the grandparents, or the unborn child. And, if one defines "choice" as an educated, thought-out decision which has included consideration of the consequences, then the ProChoice agenda offers no true choice for the mother, either. (ET12)
One Dead, One Wounded
An Open Letter to Women Considering Abortion
Abortion inarguably means death to the Unborn. But what happens to the mother of that child after the abortion? What does she go through when the operation is over? Was it merely minor surgery for her as pro-abortion forces claim?–or will she have to bear emotional and spiritual scars as well? This tract is a letter written anonymously by a living victim of abortion–a woman who had an abortion more than 20 years ago. It details the aftermath and the trauma she experienced and the pain she still feels. It is a short letter, to the point and from the heart, and a must-read for someone you know who is considering abortion. (ET08)
Uno Muerto, Uno Herido
Una Carta Dirigida para Mujeres Que Estan Considerando Un Aborto
A Spanish version of One Dead, One Wounded above. (ET08-S)
Are You Personally Against Abortion…
but feel a woman should still have the legal right to choose?
This extremely common stance is addressed in a Socratic dialogue between Chris and Kelly, two employees on a break. Kelly represents this position, Chris counters it with reason and love. The conclusion they arrive at is that to be personally against abortion but to do or say nothing to stop it is in reality giving one’s approval to the killing of an innocent human being. (ET03)
Do You Believe "ProLife" Means "AntiChoice"?
ProLife advocates are often labelled "AntiChoice" by virtue of their stance against the "choice" of taking an unborn child’s life. This tract handily refutes that misleading claim by discussing all of the other choices available. The conclusion is that the ProLife stance is the true "ProChoice" position, actively offering many choices for both the mother and child with one exception – abortion. (ET02)
Another Instrument for the Destruction of Souls
Maelstrom on Christians & AIDS
This time Gruamuc’s patient is put face to face with AIDS. An old friend has acquired the HIV virus through his homosexuality. It has been assigned to Gruamuc to keep his patient from converting his stricken friend at the last moment. Some important messages in this tract are: Homosexuals need Jesus, too; the Christian church, because of some narrow-minded thinking, is losing the majority of AIDS victims to the Enemy; God can use even the sure-death HIV virus to show His love and willingness to forgive someone even at Death’s Door. (ET11)
sex, lies, & fire escapes
Maelstrom on Christians & Premarital Sex
Maelstrom is back with advice to Gruamuc, his brother, about the importance of using premarital sex as a stepping stone to the downfall of young Christians. How can the little demon tempt his Christian patient to losing his virginity? What is God’s view on the whole subject? What are some of the many tactics used to bring young Christians to the conclusion that premarital sex is "not all that bad"? How is the Dark Side using our society and culture to bring us to such a lax view regarding God’s laws concerning sex? Is there the possibility of forgiveness should a Christian fall? (ET07)
Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Support No Evil
A Challenge to the Thinking Christian
Boycotting is to some people "just going too far." It is looked upon by some people who are against abortion and violence on TV and the excess of pornography as "too political." This tract answers the major objections to boycotting in a non-condemning manner. It shows that boycotting is really nothing more than smart shopping. Its main purpose is not to harm people or ruin businesses, but to allow people to spend their money in a wise and responsible way, while simultaneously affecting a change in our falling society. (ET10)
Once There Was A Human Being
The Spirit of the Age Claims A Victim
This tract attempts to show, through the life of one fictional woman, that the world-view which advocates abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, and other anti-life occurrences is the natural result of one’s slavery to the Great Killer–Pride. The lifestyle which advocates total disregard for the lives of others is the effect of rejecting the One Who calls Himself "the Life." And, consequently, those who try to save their own life apart from Him will surely lose it. (ET04)
Life in Jeopardy
A T.V. Gameshow of the Future Reveals Our Present
Jesus came to give life and give it abundantly. This society is quickly on the way to just the opposite attitude–taking life and taking it abundantly via abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, etc. This whole outlook on life is addressed here in a fictional game show, played in the Jeopardy format, all of which occurs in the near future, in the year 2010. It is a black-humored and pointed satire; an attempt to overview the whole anti-life world view to show us where all of this is headed if Christians don’t do something now to stop it. (ET09)
Spirits of Christmas Present
Maelstrom on Christians and Christmas
Here Maelstrom gives advise to Gruamuc on how to ruin Christmas for his patient and those associated with him. His advise?–to get his patient so overwhelmed in the Christmas Rush that he completely forgets why the holiday exists. But this method is just a means to an end: Gruamuc’s patient may get so disgusted with the Rush, that he will overreact and bah-humbug all the tradition associated with the Holiday, thus exhibiting a sour and loveless witness to the nonChristians searching for Meaning during this critical time. Key message: Enjoy all the aspects of the Holiday, making sure priorities are set right: Jesus first, tradition second. (ET13)

But Who Do You Say That I Am?
Biblical Claims that Jesus of Nazareth is God
This is a quick-reference guide to verses in the Bible which clearly demonstrate claims of the divinity of Jesus. It is written as a tract which can be used by itself but is most effective in conjunction with Do You Believe Jesus of Nazareth Was Only A Great Moral Teacher? (TG01). Together they provide a lot of food for thought for the skeptic who questions the true nature of the Man from Galilee and His determination to change the world one soul at a time. (TG04)
Profile of a Cult Leader
What makes men like Sun Myung Moon, Joseph Rutherford, Jim Jones, and David Koresh tick? How were they able to control the minds of so many people? Randall Watters, a countercult expert, exposes in this essay the common threads that link each man in their manipulation of the thousands of their victims. Good preventive medicine to help you or a loved one avoid being snared by a cult leader. (TC05)
Dear Gods
An Open Letter to the Gods of Mormonism
Written from the point of view of a Mormon who had trusted and feared his gods, only to find out that they had been lying to him the whole time. The contradictions of LDS doctrine involving the number of gods and their attributes are exposed and fully documented in this "Dear John" letter to the gods of the LDS church. (TC01)
Heaven will be Boring!
and Other Common Myths, Misconceptions, & Misunderstandings Concerning the Christian Faith
We all know people who use lies and misunderstandings about the Christian Church and thus deny the truth of Jesus and His marvelous work. This tract takes on 25 of those "problems" and explains them; misunderstandings such as "Christians believe in three gods," "You must be water-baptized to be saved," "Christianity is a crutch," "Christians are not allowed to ever enjoy sex," "Christians are not allowed to think for themselves," "Christians have the nerve to believe theirs is the only true faith." These misunderstandings, some true, are explained, cleared up, or defended, giving the unbeliever fewer excuses to deny the divinity of Our Lord. It is also some good, simple apologetics for young Christians. (TG02)
Do You Believe Jesus of Nazareth Was Only A Great Moral Teacher?
Either the apostles were telling the truth, lying, or mistaken concerning the Deity of Jesus. The last two arguments are attacked mercilessly, but in love, and in a Socratic fashion, leaving only the first option – the apostles were telling the truth. A good introduction to simple, straightforward Christian apologetics. (TG01)
Q&A4LDS
Questions for the Thinking Mormon
In an appeal to thinking Mormons, two major LDS subjects are considered here: the historical accuracy of the Book of Mormon and the doctrine of the plurality of wives. Each subject is described, then followed by a plethora of questions concerning those subjects and the documented facts that shake them apart. The Mormon reader is asked to question his faith in the light of history and of the Bible. It’s the same here as with any of our material: Get the person to question and examine and a mighty Door will open into a throneroom of Light. (TC03)
Watchtower Defense Tactics
How to Control a Dialogue with a Jehovah’s Witness
When dueling with Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christians are frequently caught off guard and end up playing by the JW’s rules, which leads to a lot of frustration and defeat. This tract gives some sound defensive moves to use against the JW – not scriptural bombardment, but a strong spiritual/psychological defense. Tips such as "Do not carry on a study at the door," "How to even the odds," "Firmly keep the JW on the subject and point of discussion," and many others are elaborated on in detail. In this way, the Christian will not be merely equipped scripturally for a discussion but spiritually, as well – "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood..." (TC04)
And the Word Was...
Questions for the Thinking Jehovah's Witness
One of the most common arguments between Christians and the Jehovah’s Witnesses involves the real meaning of John 1:1. That question is dealt with here in a kind of "logic flowchart" in which one can, by answering questions with "yes" or "no," follow arrows to the next question leading ultimately to the conclusion that Jesus is the God, not a god. But more than this, the objectives here are to get the Jehovah’s Witness to think for himself, to realize that it’s OK to question, and to see that conclusions can be reached without being under the watchful eye of the Watchtower. (TC02)

Science Tracts

Astrology — help, hoax, or harm?
Dr. Hugh Ross, astronomer and Christian apologist, examines astrology in the light of science and the Bible. He exposes the fallacies of its claims and logically concludes that astrology is no game, but a dangerous spiritual practice to be avoided at all costs. (SC03)
In the Beginning
A Biblical/Scientific Parallel Account of Prehistory
Genesis One and a brief history of prehistoric science are placed parallel to each other with the minimum of commentary so that the reader, Christian or not, can see that there is no discrepancy between what Christians believe is the special revelation of the Creator—the Bible—and the general revelation—nature. (SC04)
A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
A Scientific Look into the Genesis Flood
This is a four-part series dealing with the major "problems" the secular world has with the Flood in Genesis. Written by Dr. Hugh Ross, the four parts deal scientifically and biblically with, respectively, the ark and all those animals, the was-it-global-or-local? problem, the longevity of pre-flood peoples, and a scientifically critical look at the "canopy" hypothesis. (SC05)
Home, Sweet Home
Evidence for Design: Part 1 - The Universe
It was thought by many in the science community until just recently that, given enough time, life was bound to pop up somewhere in the universe. Earth just happened to be that lucky spot. Now many are reconsidering in the light of the mass of evidence that has been presented in the last generation that overwhelmingly points to an Intelligent Designer as the Cause behind our existence. This tract lists, in detail, seven of the more than twenty universal parameters that lead to the conclusion that life is no mistake, but is instead the product of a thoughtful, loving Creator. (SC02)
Home, Sweet Home
Evidence for Design: Part 2 - The Solar System
Part Two here deals with the evidence within our solar system—evidence that strongly suggest design, and therefore, a Designer. Some of the parameters dealt with here involve the location of our sun in the galaxy, Earth’s orbit, our distance from the sun, the amount of oxygen in the air, the number of earthquakes we experience. (SC06)
The SuperNature of Things
A Dialogue on Science, Nature, & Christianity
Chris and Kelly are back engaging in another dialogue. The subjects this time are the seeming contradictions between the Bible and science. The main thrust of this conversation is that if the God of the Bible is the one, true God, then the facts of His creation ought not contradict the facts of His written revelation—the Bible. In fact, they do not. The attempt here is to reconcile, without compromise, the varied disciplines of science with orthodox Christianity. (SC01)
